Who we are

Tania Willmann founded Black Pines Consulting on a foundation built across the U.S. Air Force, the Defense Intelligence Agency, and executive security leadership in the private sector. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Master's in Intelligence Studies and an MBA from Yale School of Management, she has led national security operations spanning the DIA, Defense Attaché Offices, U.S. embassies, and joint special operations advisory roles in Afghanistan.

Prior to founding Black Pines, Tania served as VP of Security at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she directed global protective operations and executive risk management at scale. That combination of military credentialing, IC operational experience, and corporate security leadership is the foundation Black Pines is built on: cleared, accountable, and operationally fluent.

Travis Willmann brings 20+ years of U.S. Army Special Forces and Intelligence Community experience to Black Pines operations. A recipient of the DIA Director's Award for security actions in Afghanistan and a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through ASIS International, Travis has built and led security and intelligence logistics programs spanning cleared facility operations, personnel protection, and global enterprise security.

His background spans startup consulting, defense program management, and direct action support to intelligence community customers. At Black Pines, he applies that operational rigor to subcontract execution, cleared staffing accountability, and day-to-day program delivery.
