Security Monitor - TS/SCI
Job Type: Part-time - 1099 (20 hours per week)
Location: On-site (Vandenberg SFB)
Pay: $45-55/hour
Summary
Black Pines LLC is seeking vigilant and detail-oriented Security Monitors to support secure facility operations. Responsibilities include monitoring uncleared personnel and ensuring compliance with all physical and procedural security requirements. Candidates with a current TS/SCI clearance are strongly preferred. We offer competitive pay, weekly direct deposit, and flexible scheduling. This position is contingent on contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and escort uncleared persons within the facility.
Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel at all times.
Provide verbal and written reports on safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel.
Stay alert and awake at all times to provide proper security monitoring.
Perform periodic spot checks/inspections to ensure assets are secure and intact.
Assist with the movement of material control in and out of the facility.
Maintain positive control over badges and necessary equipment to complete escort duties.
Alert security office of suspicious behavior and detain individuals if necessary.
Administrative duties such as answering phone calls may be required.
Ensure enforcement of security procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
Capacity for prolonged periods of standing and walking during shifts..
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current scope Top Secret Clearance with access to SCI (TS/SCI).
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid state driver’s license.
Must interpret and implement required procedures for cleared facilities.
Wear appropriate work attire and PPE as directed.
